nothing...i have nothing.

i have really nothing to let you in on. I have been working alot lately. work in the morning...nap and work at night. I am even working on my day off. I can't say that it isn't helping in the finance dept. cuz it is....maybe i will be able to retire some year...ya right.

I am counting down the days until my trip up home. I can't wait to just not work for more than 1 day in a row. I am hoping to have lots of pictures and stories to tell.

i am boring aren't i? i know i am. even the dog knows it now. uggh.
well hope i will have something soon!!!!

Finally the sun has come out!!!

As you can see...they dressed me up to go outside in the rain because i am such a sissy dog and DO NOT WANT TO GET WET....it will mess up my hair. And of course i will tippy toe like fred flintstone across the yard to hurry back inside....









Maybe the sun will come out and maybe the sun will not....let me check out this window to see.
















HA HA HA!!!! The cat is outside in the rain and i am not! I have a nice warm couch and you get the chair....don't worry i will play with you later and warm you up when i chase you off my porch!!








Well finally my day is over with, i got dressed up, looked outside, played with the cat...snuggled with my bear and now i am out for the count!!!! See ya!!!

Can't you just picture gordon in this raincoat looking this pathetic??? It comes in pink or blue and even camo pink and green...which one will i choose? My big baby will not go out in the rain to do his duty and will hold anything just so he doesn't have to go outside.

I am seriously considering buying one of these for him so he will go outside when it is raining...and that seems to be all the time around here..and there is no sign of stopping.

Then the big baby was outside last night and evidently twisted wrong and hurt his hip/leg...he can walk on it but can not get up too swift and can not get on the bed...but he can get on the couch....so last night i put some ice on it and rubbed it for him...now is asleep on the couch snoring so loud...speaking of snoring...i fell asleep with him on the floor last night and i was told he moved away from me cuz i was snoring too loud!!!!now isn't that funny. well i am off to take a nap....or try to. later tater!!!

Just a lazy day on the porch

This is our neighborhood cat that we call max. He likes to come up on the porch and chill out...and of course gordy loves to mess with the cat...

and later max got him with a quick swat on the noise with his paw...and of course gordy went back for more...bonehead.

Well we finally seem to be on the road to recovery in the electrical department...all the outlets are changed now and no surges have happened. Now all that is left is the fixing of the insulation and that might happen by next year. It is only 2 months until we go on our trip. so now starts the lets make sure the car is up to par....well the brakes are getting checked...and now i am feeling a different shift in the transmission...i am hoping it is only a solenoid...so i am living like a poor girl to save up the extra money to get the car checked/fixed.....hate to have that happen on the road. And the trip can not come soon enough....we are planning to go up home to iowa...see some family and friends and then take our time coming home...r has never been to the arch in st. louis...so we might stop there and of course graceland in memphis...only have one vacation a year right.

I am going to start baking at least 4 or 5 days a week...gotta save up for the repairs...plus the backup baker is quitting..so i will be extremely busy...and hopefully saving up most of it...

well this is all i really know...alot huh????

Houston...we finally have power.

well here i am...it seems like an eternity and finally i have electricity and internet back on. we have been having some problems with our electric and finally it took a crap. well come to find out it was in the breaker box and some plug-ins are bad...in the mean time a surge of power from the kitchen light took out the bedroom tv, dvd player, sound system, the internet modem, the alarm clock and the jeff gordon neon clock. i know you are all bummed out about the gordon clock....but anyway...it was stuff that was going to be replaced anyway...now just a little sooner.

So i now sit in a living room that all the sudden is brighter than it was last week and i can actually see myself...ha ha so where else do i start...it basically sucked cuz the power zapped those things...and i don't think the landlord will compensate us for any of it...

well this is all my excitement for the week...later gators

I have fallen down and I can't get internet

The child has no internet, so I am guest blogging. She works a lot, laughs a lot and talks a lot....sorry! She loves that darn dog like her child and is always worrying about him.

She is coming over so I can hem a pair of pants for her. She told me that she took care of the pants without the button, and I so wanted to sew a button on for her. She gave me some tips about copying some pictures at Sam's Club, cheaper than Walmart!

She is getting a vacation this year and will finally get to meet her cute little niece. Hopefully, her new nephew will arrive while she is in the North land.

This is all I got. Watch for the real thing when she gets the internet back.
I don't know why she doesn't have internet....I forgot to ask.

Does anyone have an electrician???

This is like when gordy gets into the garbage or something he is not suppose to...."did i do that?"

Well i have been chasing an electrical issue in the house still and still it is not fixed!!! today it got worse and come to find out the silly guy on a ford tractor was mowing grass in the rain(who mows grass in the rain) and mowed over a guide line full of electricity...now I am not one to judge too much here but aren't those the lines that come down at an angle from the electrical pole???and if so how in the world do you not see the line so you don't hit it???? But i forgot...this is arkansas. But anyway, we bought a new microwave cuz we think that the old one was fried...with a little help from the electric...it just finished it off. and this was great cuz we ordered it online at sam's last night late, and it was here by 2pm today...that's lightnening fast now isn't it?? so we will wait and see what happens with the electric...i hope they get it fixed soon. I am busy doing the winterizing the house thing....insulated the water heater...now i am getting ready to insulate the pipes...and pops is coming over so we can get the back door sealed off correctly. and it's crazy cuz it's not chilly enough to keep the furnace on but then it get too hot when you keep it on.

Work is going okay...things are slow around town and the weather doesn't help matters any. I have found a guy to paint a picture of dad and some other things that remind me of him so i am hoping that it turns out good...might take a while but it will be work the wait. Other than that my life if pretty boring....work home sleep and work again. gotta love it!!!
